There is a particular kind of training course where the person at the front learned everything from a textbook the week before. We have sat through a few. They are fine, in the way a packed lunch is fine.
This is not that.
I founded Samera twenty-five years ago because, by my own account, I got tired of generalist accountants missing the point of running a dental practice. With over twenty years of commercial experience, I have built a network of contacts most dentists would need a decade to assemble and somehow manage to make a session on raising finance feel less like a lecture and more like a conversation with someone who genuinely wants you to win.
Dr Smita Mehra is our Clinical Director, and she is also the Principal Dentist running the Neem Tree Dental practices. This matters more than it sounds. When she talks about surgery design or building a team that stays, she is not reciting theory. She has hired the wrong person, fixed the rota that did not work, and signed the lease that turned out to be a good one. Her sessions come with the kind of detail that only shows up when someone has actually lived through it.
Chris O'Shea is our Head of Digital Marketing, and he is quietly responsible for a lot of Samera clients getting found online before their doors even open. His sessions on branding, SEO and lead generation are the difference between a beautifully designed practice nobody has heard of, and one with a waiting list before the paint dries.
Uros Turcic is our Healthcare Finance Specialist. He is responsible for helping practice owners navigate funding, acquisition finance and financial planning. His practical expertise supports dentists at every stage of practice ownership.
