Hi there,
I want to tell you about something we are launching this month.
It is called The Arun and Chris Show, and it is a monthly live broadcast I am doing alongside Chris Barrow, one of the most respected dental business coaches in the UK.
Here is the thinking behind it.
Most of the advice practice owners receive comes from one side of the room. Either someone who knows the operations, or someone who knows the numbers. Rarely both, and almost never at the same time, in the same conversation, in public.
Chris sits with practice owners every week. He sees what is happening to teams, patient journeys, and margins on the ground. I see what is happening in the financials. Valuations, EBITDA multiples, what group buyers are actually paying in the current interest rate environment, not what brokers might tell you they could pay.
When the two of us are in the same room, the conversation goes somewhere useful. We do not always agree. Honestly, that is the point.
Once a month, every month, live at 17:30 on a Tuesday, we pick one real problem facing UK dental practice owners and go at it from both sides.
Over the coming months we will be covering:
Why your fees have not kept up with your costs, and what the real block is.
Why your diary has more white space than it should, and why spending more on Google Ads will not fix it.
Why net profit is shrinking even when turnover is growing, and what the arithmetic actually looks like.
What your practice is genuinely worth right now, not what you hope it might be worth.
No scripts. No polished talking points. No sponsor-friendly hedging. Just a coach and a financier who know the numbers and are not afraid to say the thing nobody else wants to say on air.
The very first broadcast is on Tuesday 23 June at 17:30. It is free, it is live on StreamYard, and recordings are posted afterwards for anyone who cannot make it live.
If you cannot make it live, recordings are posted after each session. But I would rather you joined us live. It is a different experience when you can put questions in.
