Two Practices, One Deal, No Real Drama

How a £1.4 million dual acquisition went about as smoothly as these things get

Hi there,

I will be honest, deals this size usually come with at least one headache. This one did not, and I think it is worth explaining why.

A dental professional in the West Midlands set out to buy two established practices in one transaction. Goodwill and freehold on both sites, structured as a share purchase with a leveraged buyout. That is a lot of moving parts by anyone's standard.

What made the difference was preparation. Strong financials, clear deal terms, and an application that our finance team put together properly before it ever reached the lender. The lender saw a client who knew exactly what they were doing, and extended a substantial facility without much back and forth.

The team secured over £1.4 million, covering both sites in full. A real milestone for the client, and honestly one of the more satisfying deals we have worked on simply because it went the way it should.

The lesson here is not complicated. Big does not have to mean chaotic. It just means the preparation needs to be done properly before you start.

If you are thinking bigger than a single site, let our finance team build the application properly from the outset. It makes a genuine difference. Get in touch here to start the conversation.
