⏰ MTD: Critical changes in April 2026 - Act now to avoid penalties
MTD is Coming. Are You Prepared?
Hi everyone,
Big changes are coming to the way dentists manage their taxes. From April 2026, Making Tax Digital (MTD) will become mandatory for all self-employed dentists and landlords earning over £50,000.
Here’s what that means for you:
You’ll need to keep digital financial records
You’ll have to submit quarterly updates to HMRC
And you must use MTD-compliant accounting software - spreadsheets alone won’t cut it anymore
If you leave things too late, it could lead to compliance problems, penalties, and a lot of unnecessary stress.
That’s why we’ve created simple, affordable MTD packages just for dentists - designed to get you fully prepared well before the 2026 deadline.
💼 Our MTD Packages for Dentists
We’ve tailored pricing for individual associate dentists by turnover band. Each package includes: quarterly digital record-keeping & preparation of MTD reports, submission of MTD reports to HMRC, annual adjustment & declaration, annual Self-Assessment, MTD-compliant software subscription, email support, HMRC compliance guidance, a dedicated dental tax accountant, and initial setup/onboarding.
Turnover range | Monthly fee (ex VAT) |
£50,000 – £75,000 | £125 |
£75,001 – £100,000 | £145 |
£100,001 – £150,000 | £180 |
Above £150,000 | Starting from £225 (custom quote depending on transactions) |
Note: fees are charged per entity (for example, associate income and a rental income stream are treated separately).

👉 Remember: MTD becomes mandatory in April 2026 and that’s not as far away as it sounds.
Getting organised now will save you stress later and keep your practice running smoothly.
